Heavenly Father,
As we stand on the threshold of a new year, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude for the past and hope for the future. Your Word reminds us in
“For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.”
Jeremiah 29:11,
We trust in Your divine plans for us, O Lord.
In this new season, we seek Your wisdom, the wisdom that comes from above, as mentioned in
“But the wisdom from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, open to reason, full of mercy and good fruits, impartial and sincere.”
James 3:17:
Grant us the discernment to make choices aligned with Your will.
Lord, we surrender our plans and ambitions to You, understanding the truth in
“The heart of man plans his way, but the Lord establishes his steps.”
Proverbs 16:9,
May Your hand guide us in all our endeavors, that they may be fruitful for Your glory.
As we embark on the journey of a new year, we find solace in
Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
Philippians 4:6-7,
Grant us the peace that transcends all understanding, Lord.
We pray for unity and love within our community, inspired by
Colossians 3:14, “And above all these put on love, which binds everything together in perfect harmony.”
May our interactions and relationships be rooted in love, reflecting Your love for us.
Lord, we entrust this new year into Your hands, seeking Your guidance, protection, and blessings. May we walk in faith, knowing that You are with us every step of the way. In Jesus’ name, we pray.
