As today is Wednesday, March 19, 2025, the Catholic Church celebrates the Solemnity of Saint Joseph, Spouse of the Blessed Virgin Mary. On this special day, the following prayer is traditionally recited:
Prayer to Saint Joseph
O Saint Joseph, spouse of the Blessed Virgin Mary and foster father of Jesus,
you have been charged with the protection of the Universal Church.
We humbly implore your intercession on this solemn day,
seeking your guidance and protection for all families.
Grant us the grace to follow your example of faithfulness,
humility, and unwavering trust in God’s plan.
May we, like you, embrace our responsibilities with courage
and nurture those entrusted to our care.
Through your prayers, may our hearts be filled with the love
and devotion that you showed to Jesus and Mary.
We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen.
